Foodie Concert & Cookbook Release! - May 11 at the Humboldt Unitarian in Bayside Join The Babes of Humboldt Light Opera Company for a Foodie Concert as they celebrate the release of their new cookbook! The Babes singers and other musical guests will perform a collection of culinary songs, followed by a reception featuring recipes from Dragon Soup and Other Delectables. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11, at the Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Bayside (24 Fellowship Way). Admission is $10. The cookbook and concert are a fundraiser in support of HLOC activities, including the upcoming Cinderella production at HSU in August. Read the Times-Standard preview...

Cinderella 2nd Auditions - May 13 at HSU Adults and teens are invited to audition for HLOC's summer production of Cinderella at 4 pm on Sunday, May 13 in HSU's Music Room 131. Rehearsals begin in late June; performances are weekends, August 3-18 at the HSU Van Duzer Theater.
